Square-Enix blijft PSP ondersteunen

Nieuws | 23 februari 2010 - Larry Sparks van Square-Enix heeft gezegd dat het bedrijf de PlayStation Portable en de PSPgo blijft ondersteunen met UMD-games en digitale games.

De PSP blijft ondersteund door Square-Enix mede door het succes van Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII en het recente succes van Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

Quote: “The PSP is a great portable device, for both disk-based and digital content. We continue to support this platform and work within the market conditions to ensure our software releases are successful. Crisis Core and Dissidia Final Fantasy have been successful releases and we intend to continue this pattern with Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The brand, the quality of each game and careful release timing, have all contributed to previous successful releases on the platform.”

Afgelopen avond heeft Sony Computer Entertainment Amerika bekend gemaakt dat de PSP ook dit jaar weer een solide line-up van games krijgt van zowel first-party and third-party ontwikkelaars.
