Harmonix blijft Rock Band trouw
Nieuws | 3 mei 2011 - Harmonix heeft laten weten dat zij nog steeds achter de Rock Band formule staan en er nog genoeg leven zit in de serie, zo meldt IndustryGamers.

Harmonix’s VP of Product Development Greg LoPicollo is van mening dat hoewel de muziekgames niet meer zo populair zijn, Rock Band zal blijven bestaan. LoPicollo denkt dat er nog genoeg leven zit in de formule:

But then beyond that, we would love to make games that are new musical experiences to throw them out there and have people accept them and get inspired by them.” |

Hoewel Harmonix dus nog steeds heil ziet in hun muziekgame, heeft Activision hun muziekgame al geschrapt. In februari liet de ontwikkelaar namelijk weten dat het niet meer rendabel was om de Guitar Hero franchise voort te zetten.
